The Wilkinson 4BBB Matchplay
Audrey Wilkinson started this event 50 years ago. To mark this special occasion Audrey’s son and daughter in law alongside many past winners attended lunch and the trophy presentation.
The trophy was presented by Peter Wilkinson to the winners Julie Kirchen and Nola Crothers. Runner-up: Carolyn Boston and Cath Lowrie.
Many thanks to Mary and Judy for researching the history of “the Wilkie” and creating a fitting 50 year celebration.

Double the surprise
A hole in one is hard to come by but two golfers at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort have managed the feat in a matter of weeks of each other.
Kevin Barry and Peter Crothers had similar stories for their successful round of golf with both players thinking their ball had gone through the green and a search for the ball ensuing before later finding them in the hole, much to their delight.
Kevin played the Lakes Course and scored his hole in one on the 7th hole.
Peter played the Murray Course and scored his hole in one on the 17th hole.
Congratulations to both men on their fantastic feat.
