A gun was found in a stolen truck that was discovered by police in Mooroopna.
Police found the light Isuzu tipper truck parked in a residential street at 4pm on Tuesday, March 24.
When the truck was searched by police, a gun was found inside it.
The truck, which is described as white with a black tipper tray, was stolen from a rural property in Murchison in December.
Police believe it was in the Mooroopna area for about a week in the lead-up to it being recovered by police.
