These competitors were invited to the competition from the ISSF (International Shooting Sports Federation), based on qualifying scores shot and medals won at world events.

“I had a good qualifying result where I finished on a score of 122/125 over two days which placed me 5th into the final of 6 shooters,” James said.  

“Unfortunately I didn’t manage to hit enough targets throughout the final but finished in 5th place as I was knocked out on 22/30 at the second elimination in the final. 

“It was still another great event and I was pleased with the competition to cap off an amazing season I have had this year and it puts me in a good place heading into our Olympic selection events early next year with our first one being in January 2020.”
