Jake is a standout player and has many other titles (see his player profile below) apart from our club championship to his name.
Jake won the event without dropping a frame, which very clearly demonstrates his standing as our number 1 player.
Gus will be looking for third time lucky next year after working his way to the final through a closely fought three frame semi final win over Jason Bassett, which included an unfinished final break of 35.
There were a number of other close matches throughout the championship rounds but all congratulations go to Jake and Gus on playing out another championship decider.
A round robin event was held on Monday, November 4 and Darren Thompson won over Nev Page to take out the prize.
Darren has been in exceptional late season form and won his 3 matches for the night with very consistent snooker.
Hans Lang collected the chocolates on Wednesday, November 6 with a win over Ashley Nicholls.
Hans has a very high strike rate who can always be relied upon to provide formidable competition and has picked up many events this year.
Deb Harbrow also played the perfect shot to pot the black from its spot to pocket the weekly cash incentive.
Wednesday, November 13 social play saw the unflappable Darren Edwards victorious over Tony Cincotta in the third of his close wins for the night.
Well played to you both gentlemen.
