Milla McConville, daughter of Sean and the late Delvene King formerly of Tungamah has recently had very successful results in figure skating.
On October 7 Milla skated in Sydney in the Men and Ladies free skating in the NSW Figure Skating Championships and was the winner.
A very happy and excited young girl with this amazing win to be NSW Champion.
On October 12 Milla was back home in Melbourne for the Victorian Championships. This was the day she skated with the Eclipse Synchronized Team which she captains and was thrilled with the score they got that has put them through to the Australian Championships that will be held at O’Brien Arena at Docklands in November.
The next day Milla skated again in a solo event for the Victorian Championship and skated so beautifully to win the title.
This also puts her into the Australian Championships.
She is so dedicated to her skating and has worked so hard with training at 6am 5 mornings a week before heading off to school.
Milla is the granddaughter of very proud grandparents Peter and Pat King of Yarrawonga and formerly of Tungamah.
Best wishes to Milla and Team Eclipse for great skating at the Australian Championships.
