This tournament attracted a large volume of entries and saw teams travelling between Shepparton, Nathalia, Kyabram, Benalla, Numurkah and Tatura to complete their games.
With many teams showing great improvement since the start of the representative season, this found them competing in higher divisions which provided a learning experience. All teams played with determination over the weekend, with three teams just falling short of making their final.A highlight from the tournament was James Hargraves’ Under 12 boys winning their first game against Mildura Heat. An exciting game saw the boys come from behind in the last half to win by 2 points.Well done to all coaches, team managers, scorers and volunteers on a successful weekend. A reminder as we break for the Christmas period that the Rep Sock Awards and Christmas get together will be held at the Mulwala Water Ski Club this Sunday, December 15 at 2.45pm.
