The competition is open to all Athletics Victoria members from under 14s up to 60+.
Local Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics member Paige Duffy, transitioning from junior to senior athletics, took the opportunity to take part and use it as a stepping stone and experience the event in four disciplines.
She represented the Wodonga Senior Athletics Club in the women’s under 16’s under the Athletics Victoria banner.
A wonderful overall experience and a successful weekend for Paige bringing home a silver medal in high jump, just under her PB, 11th in the state with some technical difficulties for triple jump and long jump and 4th in the women’s U16 90m hurdles.
Paige would like to take this opportunity to thank the Wodonga Athletics Club for enabling her to participate at this level.
Her coach Blair Talbot for his support and her local Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics Club which she is looking forward to her final year in 2020/21 season due to the age rule.
For those Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics 2019 financial members who would like to participate in future little athletics regional events please go online for more information and enter at www.lavic.com.au.
