Wednesday started the day with lovely sunshine, by the time social started it had turned very dull and cold. Eighteen brave players turned up to play, 5 ladies and 13 gents.
A big welcome to visitors on both days.
Winners were – Peter Howell, Darryl Brown and Brian Shipcott.
Runners Up – Keith Evans, Kevin Bowler and Paul Hickey.
On Saturday fifteen players took to the greens on a fine sunny day.

The Mixed Pairs Consistency Tournament to be played on Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17 has the required number of entries to fill the greens. The club do have a reserve list if you which to be added in case of cancellations.

Sunday’s winners on 15 and 15 (30) were Gloria McCluskey and Peter Manning, with the runners-up on 5 and 19 (24) the team of Betty Clancy and Ian Day.
On Tuesday, the winners on 17 and 17 (34) were Gloria McCluskey, Georgie Agnew, Tony Coppolino, and Gus Sander with Joan Adams, Dawn Sander, Jan Webber, and Peter Manning the runners-up on 3 and 19 (22).
Thursday’s champs were Peter Manning, Margaret Watson, Tony Coppolino, and Betty Clancy with a score of 17 and 15 (32).
The runners-up on 3 and 17 (20) were, Gwen Mills, Wendy Dunbar, Ken Pleming, and Ellen Buckley.

You all know how cold the weather conditions have been, but the regular hardened bowlers are still out there on the greens.
The Corowa RSL Bowls Club hope all travellers are enjoying warmer weather.

Runners Up, 2W +10 were Shane Rosenow, John Dalgliesh and Ken Mollison.
Open Jackpot Saturday Pairs, July 11
After the heavy fog cleared twenty-five bowlers played Pairs and Triples.
The jackpot wasn't drawn so it "Jackpots" to $100 plus the next Saturday's allocation of green fees.

The holidaying group in Queensland are enjoying their bowls, Julie Holmquest, Wendy Robb, and Janet Mills report some success in a recent "Ladies Day" at Coolangatta Bowls Club.
Reminder that Midweek and Weekend Pennant commences in October, the Selection Committee ask that you please indicate on the availability list if you are interested in playing Pennant this season.
