The four-week program was completed on Thursday, November 27.
Weekly prizes of Club Corowa Mini Golf vouchers were presented each week and sponsored by Club Corowa.
The weekly prizes were won by Team Phibbs, Team Black, Team Nate Jones and Team Johnson.
The overall winners after four weeks were Mark Fraser, Levi Phibbs and Paul Phibbs.
Second place - Judy Black, Wayne Schultz, Chris Cull and substitute players David Black and Ryan McMahon.
Third prize winners were Darcy Pinchen, Joan Wood and Ann McGeehan.
Fourth place was won by Cohen Wilcox, Nate Jones and Herbie Carroll.
Thank you to all volunteers and the match committee who coordinated the event.
Midweek Pennant round seven.
Division A1 lost to Wodonga at home 55/59 and remain in first position ahead of Wodonga.
Division A3 defeated Chiltern at Chiltern 69/40 and remain in second position.
Division B2 defeated Club Mulwala at home 80/52 and are currently third on the ladder.
Weekend Pennant round eight
Division A1 lost to Rutherglen at home 73/83 and remain second behind Wodonga.
Division A4 lost to Wodonga at Wodonga 80/87 and are now in second position behind North Albury.
Division B2 remain undefeated and had a win over Club Mulwala 60/50 and remain in top position ahead of Corowa Civic, YMGCR and Myrtleford.
Ovens and Murray representative team to play Goulburn Valley.

The big working bee
Thank you to all members and volunteers who assisted with the scarifying and coring of the Leo Farrell green on Sunday, November 30.
A second working bee to assist with laser levelling will be required soon.
The Management Committee and the Greens Committee thank the amazing volunteers.
Informal Christmas get together after the last Saturday of Weekend Pennant (round10).
Family and friends are invited to join the bowlers on the veranda.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club
The Christmas party was held on Saturday evening with a large number of members and their guests in attendance.
It was a lovely evening with great food being supplied by the catering committee and the men members who did a mighty job with the cooking.
A big thank you to all. There were great raffle prizes to be won, all winners were delighted with their prizes.

On Sunday morning the Men’s and Ladies Triples took place.
The game between Michele Shields, Sue Dawson and Annette Norman against Eileen Ide, Margaret Watson and Jan Wandel-Webber saw some great bowls being put down by both parties.
Michele, Sue and Annette came out winners on the day.
In the Men’s game Adrian Hill, Adrian Murray and Clint Snow played Guy Rowe, Steve Rodway and John Dalgleish this was a real struggle between the teams with brilliant bowls being played by both parties, after eight ends the score was 9 – 8.
After end 16 the score was 20 – 17, at the end of 18 th end the score was 20 – 20.
Another end had to be played to decide the winner, this end turned into a dead end, so another had to be played.
The two Adrian’s and Clint got a three on this end and were winners.
A great game of bowls Adrian, Adrian, Clint, Guy, Steve and John.
In the other game Paul Hickey, Ray Ager and Brendan Leach played John White, Doug Castles and Keith Evans.
John, Doug and Keith got away to a good start and kept the lead throughout the game and came away comfortable winners.
On Friday a semi final of the Mixed Pairs were play between Caroline and Ian Lewis against John Dalgleish and Annette Norman.
It was a great battle, Caroline and Ian were only one shot up at the 14 th end, but stormed home to win by six shots at the end of play.
Caroline and Ian will now take on Lynne Pyke and Paul Hickey in the final.
Midweek Pennant – Round seven
It wasn’t a good day for Civic with the three teams loosing on the day.
A1 were home to Yarrawonga and lost by 16 shots, B1 travelled to Myrtleford and had a huge loss of 40 shots and B2 at home to Tungamah had a loss of 21 shots.

In midweek the ladder positions are – A1 are in eighth position, B1 are sixth, B2 are in sixth place.
Next Sunday, December 7 2025 Corowa Civic will host the OMBR against GMBR.
