The randomly drawn winning rink was Ray B. and Sheryl C., who each took home a $25 Club Mulwala voucher.
The randomly drawn losing rink was the lovely Bev and Wayne Hulm, who each received a $10 Club Mulwala voucher and a bonus club drink voucher.
The raffle winners surprisingly did not include Daryl Richmond.

The sessions focus on skill drills and challenges designed to enhance each player’s bowls.
Club Mulwala’s coach is available to offer knowledge and advice to bowlers at every stage of their bowling journey.
The club welcomes new and experienced bowlers to the training sessions and to the club.

Wednesday Social Bowls
After the previous week’s cancellation of Wednesday Social Bowls due to inclement weather, this week brought vastly improved conditions, which was reflected in the strong turnout of 40 players.
Bowlers enjoyed greens that, given the cool and damp weather over the previous fortnight, were not running too badly.
Play was held in a north–south orientation across both greens.
First prize went to the team of Neville Coleman and Craig Jordan, who shared $90 and received a drink card each.
Neville and Craig played on rink four, where their opponents were Fred Donaldson and Noel Millar.
The runners-up prize of $50 was won by Lynne Baxter and Ray Brown, who played against Laureen Smith and Vin Slattery on rink 13.
The losing-rink consolation prize of $20 was won by Merv Hannaford and Glenn Doyle, who played Julian Jones and Greg Green on rink 14, affectionately, or otherwise, known as Siberia.
The first Lucky Number prize of $25 was won by Dave Charrington.
The second Lucky Number prize of $10 was won by Merv Hannaford.
Friday Social Bowls
Fine but brisk weather last Friday saw a strong field of 44 players roll out for Friday Social Bowls.
Both greens were in play and running well.
Games were played in an east–west direction.
Finding the conditions on rink 10 conducive to good bowls were Judy Leeson and Dot Brodie, who played Terry Cartwright and Michelle Thomas.
Judy and Dot each took home a drink card and shared $100.
The winning-rink runners-up prize of $50 was won by Les Wilson and Greg Fisher, who played Ian Price and Doddy Dodman on rink 13.

The second Lucky Number raffle prize of $15 was won by Greg Fisher.
Sunday Funday Social Bowls
After Saturday evening’s rain and threatening skies on Sunday morning, a lighter-than-usual field of 16 players turned out for this week’s instalment of Sunday Funday.
Fortunately for those playing, the weather cleared for the afternoon’s games.
The spider icebreaker draw was won by Michelle Thomas, who took home a selection of sweets and $5 cash.
The day’s winners were Ron Lamson and Norm Moule, who pocketed $40.
Ron and Norm played Bruce Davie and Gavin Borwick on rink 10.

Riddle Me This…
Last week, readers were challenged to correctly answer the following riddle: Until it is measured, it is not known, yet how it is missed when it has flown.
The answer was time.
This week’s riddle asks: People make it, save it, lose it, long for it and change it. What is it?
The answer will be revealed next week.
Until then, good bowling.
