Wednesday Social Bowls saw 20 players brave the cold conditions and with 2 wins and +10 shots up Mary Essex and Danny McNeill got over the line to win on a count back.
Greg Fisher and Col Withers got runners up, Keith Eade and Frank Lindberg won the jackpot.
The club would like to take a moment to express our thoughts to the Cummings family, sadly Ian passed away recently and he will be sadly missed.
Members of the club don’t think Ian had a pair of long pants in his wardrobe as we never saw him in any, he was a very underrated bowl and with his old mate Dougie ‘Boy’ McTier, they won the O&M Veterans Over 60’s pairs.

ClubMulwala Indoor Bowls
From June 28 Monday bowls has been changed from 7pm to 1.30pm.
Thursday bowls changes to 1pm.
On the first Thursday afternoon game on June 28, the winning team was Val Bryce (s), Lynne Harmer and Joan Wilson with a score of 33.
Runners up were Marg Hill (s), Annie King and Geoff Charlwood with a score of 26.
The encouragement award went to Judi Cummin (s), Helen Duncan and Nanette Meany with a score of 10.
On Thursday July 1, the winning team was Lynne Harmer (s), Annie King, Fran Smith and Geoff Charlwood with a score of 31.
Runners Up were Marna Tomlinson, Joyce Torpy, Kay Ellis and Chris Liberg with a score of 22.
