Last Saturday saw a couple of games of bowls played followed by afternoon tea.
The day was in memory of Elma Old who was a long-time member of the club.
We thank Elma’s family for their sponsorship and attendance on the day.
Thanks also to the club members who attended Club Mulwala’s barefoot bowls fundraiser night for Ged Martin and his family.
Whilst we were not involved in the running of the night your assistance in making sure there were bowls available on all rinks with mats and kitties in place and some tuition where needed was essential to helping in the smooth running of the event.
The effort in clearing the bowls from the greens after the event was greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to the club staff who worked so hard to make the night a success.
Defibrillator
We are very proud to advise our defibrillator is now operative with 10 of our members trained in its use, it will be by the green at every event we run.
