On Monday August 8 ClubMulwala Indoor Bowls held their annual charity day. A great day that was enjoyed by everyone.

All proceeds, entry fees and raffles totalling $1500 were then presented to Friends in Common President Christine Merrett.
Thank you to the members who helped on the day.

YMGCR Bowls
Wednesday social bowls had 18 players and they played 2 bowl triples.
The winners were, with the only team to record 2 wins, Bob Evans, Les Balfour and the inform Hans Lang.
Runners up with a draw and a win were Les Wilson, Ray Brown and Lyn Baxter (Lyn played very well but she only had to beat "Shagga" Baxter who put down more pineapples than the local fruit shop sold in his shop all year).
Other highlights were a couple of wrong bias sent down by Vicki Withers and Ray Brown. Lucky number was won by Ian Febey and jackpot failed to go off.
Friday had 24 players and once again the combination of the very entertaining duo of Hans Lang and Frank Linberg get the money (three weeks in a row) and runners up were Neville Coleman and Carolyn Boston.
On the notice board is a few lists ... weekend and midweek pennant players sheets (the selectors need numbers so they can work how many teams for pennant).
Upcoming practice matches and opening day which will be on September 11. (Further details will be on the sheet).
