Some exciting passages of play, repeat efforts and two amazing goals from whippet Nathan Thrower just saw the boys narrowly missing out on the win.

Albury got the break on Yarrawonga in the third quarter with two unanswered goals. The Yarra boys outscored Albury in the last quarter but unfortunately just fell short of a win by 6 points.

The first official hit out for the youngest of our Pigeons on Sunday saw the bigger bodies and more experienced Albury Tigers win the day.
Lots of encouraging signs from our boys with plenty to go on with and we look forward to seeing them tackle Nth Albury this coming Sunday.
Lots of run and plenty to like about Darcy Skehans goal and well supported by James Cummins, Noah Runnalls, Cooper Clark, Rhys Driscoll, Jack Buttler and Cam Stephens. Overall a good team effort with lots to build on.
