Tungamah welcomed Blighty to Jubilee Park for their Round 11 clash, hoping to bounce back after a disappointing loss the week before.
The Bears started the game well, putting on an 8 goal to zero first quarter and playing some great team footy. After the quarter time break, the Bears picked up where they left off, piling on the goals and asserting their dominance on the contest.
The ball movement was a particular highlight, with Tungamah’s half-backs and midfield group using their leg speed and foot skills to cut through Blighty and give the forwards plenty of goal-kicking opportunities.

Tungamah started the 3rd quarter with a bang, with the Bears midfield winning plenty of footy and putting the Blighty defence under constant pressure with forward entries. Some way-ward goalkicking was the only negative in what was a dominant third term from Tungamah.
The fourth and final term turned into a scrappy affair, with Tungamah allowing Blighty to sneak forward and add a couple of goals late, however the damage was done, and Tungamah came away comprehensive winners.
Cody Crawford was the main beneficiary of the Bears dominance across the park, booting 12 goals.
A strong response from the boys, with plenty of positives to take away, as Tungamah look ahead to some big games coming up.

Reserves
Tungamah 26.18.174 defeated Blighty 0.1.1.
The lunch time legends were glad to be hosting the red eyes because that drive excites the scribe about as much as a trip to K-mart with the Mrs.
Luckily the road trip hadn’t dampened the Blighty boys spirits as the banter remained high all game.
The scribe doesn’t think anyone was surprised when T Hayes got the call up to the seniors, to be honest the Reserves had the bloke on borrowed time far longer than they probably should have.
Luckily, they upgraded to Hayes 2.0 with Brady. The bloke looks to be the punters only chance for some competition in the B’n’F count this year. The vote cards might as well come with 3 Votes Hayes already printed on them.
Sammy Kellock was back to his standard high-quality form, serving it up to the forwards on a platter. They reckon this bloke doesn’t have a delete button on his keyboard because he doesn’t make mistakes. After some discussions this week about the significance of the post heights, it was good to see the boys kicking them between the big sticks, with 9 goals in the first quarter.
This week’s discussions will focus on the role of defensive wing as the velvet sledgehammer Prescott got deep forward to add a couple of 6 pointers off his own boot.
Cory Bozz was unselfish forward giving away more majors than the bricks laptop big red on $5 spins. It’s a pity J Walker and A Doyle weren’t born 20 years earlier, they would have been shoe-ins for head janitor position on the Exxon Valdez as they mopped up everything in the forward line treading 5 through the big sticks each.
Credit to the Blighty boys who were a cracking bunch of blokes and made the game an enjoyable day for all.

The young Bears have once again proven their dominance on the field with a convincing win over the red eyes.
The Bears put on a stunning display of teamwork and skill, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up. The forwards managed to score a number of goals throughout the game.
Their speed and agility proved to be a real challenge for the Blighty defenders, who struggled to keep up. The Bears teamwork was truly exceptional, with every player contributing to the team’s success.
