On the second day of play against the Mansfield-based club on Saturday afternoon, the visitors were bowled out for 116, 73 short of the required total.
Delatite had Benalla on the back foot from the off, as Michael Honman was judged out lbw off a Lincoln Toy delivery with a run yet to be scored.
Toy was playing with the Benalla top order and collected Priyank Chohan, James Carboon and Daniel Brew.
The Benalla middle order was unable to do any better, as Nicholas Bogar and Mitchell Purcell picked up where Toy left off.
At 7/53, captain Gary Priest came to the crease and showed much-needed grit and determination.
While his partnership with Conor Brodie was over in a flash as Brodie was caught by Joe Kelleher with the score still at 53, Priest’s stint with Mitchell Wheelens was the innings’ most profitable.
Priest added 19 runs to the total and finished not out.
Wheelens scored 25 runs before he was run out.
The late partnership could not change the tide, and Gregor Fraser bowled Tyler Begnone out for two runs to clinch the Delatite win.
The Bushrangers will face City Colts at HP Barr Reserve in the penultimate regular season round of the season.
