The best score of the day, 40 points, was had by five players, Hamish Pearce to win A-grade on a countback from runner-up Trev Squires, Phil Squires to win B-grade on a countback from runner-up Blair Ferguson and Kevin Chenhall (a visitor) to win C-grade. The C-grade runner up was Trev Willmott with 39 points.

Last Saturday, January 8, saw 62 players compete in a stroke event, the Monthly Medal, sponsored by Ray White Benalla.
The best scores of the day, 68 nett, was had by Chris Dube who won A-grade and Blair Ferguson who won B-grade, after a countback, the Monthly Medal was awarded to Blair.
Trev Squires with 69nett was the A-grade runner up and Mark Foletta 71 nett was the B-grade runner up. Graham Briggs 69 nett was the C-grade winner with Paul Norris (visitor) 72 nett the runner-up.
The best scratch score of the day was Trev Squires with 73 “off the stick”.
