The Berrigan Saints have moved into fourth place on the Picola League ladder after a superb nine point win over previously undefeated Katandra on Saturday.

In a match where Jake Dalgliesh celebrated his 100th senior game, the Saints were tasked with taking down Katandra who after 13 rounds remained unbeaten.
The Saints' red hot form continued as they jumped out to an early lead, holding a 30 point advantage at half-time.
After the main break it was much of the same with the Saints in the driver’s seat, controlling the game and after corralling a late push by Katandra the Saints walked away with the win.
Ollie Hill was enormous for the Saints with his ability to play a defensive midfield role while also finding his own footy.
Lochie Conboy continued his incredible clearance work and cleanliness in even the most difficult moments.

Reserves
It was a tough game for the Saints.
Katandra took control and ended the match with a win, but after the final siren the Saints were praised for their effort as it was a much improved performance from the week prior.
James Ware earned best on ground honours after a switch down back saw him take many intercept marks.
Steve Morgan was a handy inclusion as his return to the team slotted in perfectly at halfback.
Nick Arnold had another strong game in the ruck and Bailey Thornton showed strong tackling pressure.
The Saints will look forward to the league bye to try and recover some troops and push forward towards the end of the season.
