The Cats are represented in each of the lower grade football deciders, with their reserves facing North Bendigo, under-18s taking on Mount Pleasant, and under-15s up against Leitchville-Gunbower.
The reserves and under-15s will both be heavy underdogs in their clashes, the former having lost all three meetings with North Bendigo in the regular season, with the Bulldogs currently enjoying a perfect year to date.
Meanwhile, the under-15s face a Bombers outfit that has only lost once in 2026.
Leitchville’s junior side has had a sensational season, winning 13 of their 14 matches, which included five previous victories against the Cats.
The two local teams are also playing in the first under-15s football grand final in the HDFNL, given the grade was only introduced this season.
Lockington’s under-18s are seemingly in for a much tighter contest against the Mounts in their decider, at least on paper.
Though Pleasant has won two of three match-ups between the sides this year, each contest was close, being decided by two goals or fewer.
Both teams also ended the regular season with the same record at 13-3.
In netball, Lockington and Leitchville are facing each other in the under-13 decider, while the Cats are also in the B-reserve and under-15 deciders.
All the HDFNL grand finals are taking place at Strauch Reserve.
In the Picola and District Netball League, everyone involved at Mathoura will be cheering on its under-15 netball outfit, which takes on minor premier Tungamah in a preliminary final.
The Timbercutters went down by 10 goals in the only previous meeting between the sides this season, but have also only lost once in the competition since mid-July.
Mathoura is also aiming to make it into the grand final from seventh place, a tricky feat to achieve in an eight-team finals format.
The fixture is taking place at Picola Recreation Reserve, beginning from 9.15am.

Echuca-Moama Border Raiders women are one win away from reaching the Football Victoria Greater Bendigo League 2 grand final.
Echuca-Moama Border Raiders women face Swan Hill this Sunday at Ken Harrison Reserve in a Football Victoria Greater Bendigo League 2 qualifying final, with kick-off at 1pm.
The winner will book its spot directly into the grand final, and though the Border Raiders finished first in the regular season, they have lost two of the three meetings between the sides in 2026.
The men — having already secured the minor premiership — face Colts United in their final regular season match on Saturday at Jack Eddy Oval, with kick-off at 3pm.
Hockey
Echuca-Moama Hockey Club’s women’s outfit plays a semi-final in the Goulburn Valley Hockey Association on Saturday at Shepparton Regional Hockey Complex, with the action starting at 2pm.
They will be facing Shepparton Strikers, being favoured to make the grand final against a side they have beaten on four separate occasions already this season.
