Fresh with a new attitude and a more risk averse approach Tony has taken all before him and looks like setting a record for handicap reduction after the next update.
Beginning on Monday February 17 Tony took out the president’s trophy by defeating Nev Page in the final.
This was Tony’s first win in a club trophy event so congratulations to him on that achievement.
He then followed that up with a victory in the Ted Cookesy Memorial on Monday, February 24 over Darren Thompson and another win in the Club Challenge on Monday, March 2 over Jake Thompson. Three wins in three weeks is new territory in the club and who knows how long Tony can continue his stellar run.
Wednesday night social play has been far more variable with Adrien Ridley making a very welcome appearance on Wednesday, February 19 to beat Michael Barclay in the final.
Adrien’s night included a break of 55, which he did rather easily despite his recent lack of practice. Darren Edwards defeated Nev Page on Wednesday, February 26 to get the chocolates and just for something different Tony Cincotta had a win over Michael Barclay on Wednesday, March 4.
