Colbo crushes, Mounts miss out

The league’s second-placed side was dominant from the outset, leading by more than 50 at the half and going on to keep the Demons goalless in the second half.

Brandyn Grenfell cashed in on the big win, adding seven majors to his tally.

The remaining game of the round saw league-leader North Bendigo run up the score over Heathcote, 30.8 (188) to 5.8 (38).

Leitchville-Gunbower had the bye in round seven.

Next week, Huntly will look to continue its run against fellow top-four sides when it hosts Colbinabbin and Lockington-Bamawm United faces a tricky trip to North Bendigo.
