Dan Young picked an excellent time to return to his best form when he won the 2025 Anzac Tribute on Monday April 21.

For some time, Dan has not been able to play as much snooker as he would like due to other commitments.
In his win against Heie Hansen, Dan was full of merit, which will bode well for the rest of his season.
Heie is also to be congratulated for making the final in one of the clubs most auspicious events.
Autumn Triples Tournament
The Autumn Triples Tournament has worked its way through to qualification rounds.
At this stage the combination of Debbie Harbrow, Ian Irvine and Darren Thompson are championship favourites.
The final will be contested on Monday May 26 with this combination heavily tipped to be in the decider.

Kevin Young had made an audacious bid for Michael Barclay’s “Mr Wednesday Night” title by taking the last two social evening contests.
Kevin defeated the ever-consistent Heie Hansen on Wednesday April 21, and prevailed over Ashley Nicholls on Monday April 28.
All eyes on Kev come May 7 as he attempts an unprecedented threepeat, despite what will be a seriously shrunken handicap.
Club Mulwala Snooker Club welcomes new members or anyone who may like to give snooker a try.
There are a variety of events held every Monday and Wednesday evening and are plenty of opportunities for new players to join, or come along to try the facilities out.
The social club have two excellently maintained full size tables, which have recently been re-surfaced.
The snooker room is available for competition, practice and visitor use, and the club has its own regularly updated handicap system to ensure players from beginners to advanced level can compete equally.
There are also plenty of experienced and skilled players who can help with advice and tips on how to improve or adapt your game.
