Elmore regular Wednesday morning 9-hole visitor Tom Carboon drew Peter Anderson after the round to win on a countback from the unlucky pairing of Brendan McCarty and Les Hedington, both teams on 40 Stableford points.
All the following teams were on 39 points: Richard Feuk and Kevin McCormack, Allan Campbell and Mike Austin, and David Gebbie and Bruce Bryant.

16 pairs, including a good mixture of new and younger golfers, competed in a 2-person Ambrose over the composite short course, comprising 4 holes on the front 9 and 5 on the back 9, last Friday evening.
Murray Schier and partner Rob Else won with an impressive 34 net 29.13.
The next best were the teams of Troy McInness and Grant Robinson (29.25), Leigh Hicks and President Hicks (30.63), and Andy Purdy and young Will Coghill (30.88).
Louise Williams was closest to the line down the 10th fairway, while young Harry Rasmussen hit a nice shot to be closest to the 16th hole.
President Hicks, together with the Friday evening organising committee, was thrilled with the support from players and sponsors, and with over 100 players competing during November, the club is eager to continue into the new year.
The course will remain open over the Summer months, with regular watering and course maintenance.
However, front and back nine holes could be closed alternately during late December, January and February.
On Wednesday morning, our 9-hole events will continue with a short break over the Christmas period.

The rain was brief and sunshine broke through on a number of occasions to cheer up the 69 players (exactly the number in 2024).
