Over the past five months, women have braved the elements across three seasons and, on Thursday, the queens of the court were crowned.
A lunch at Bill and Beat’s Mooroopna saw the winners from across the divisions celebrated by all in attendance, putting an exclamation point on another bumper year between the baselines.
In the Tuesday competition, Shepparton Lawn White came up trumps 5-34 to 1-19 over Kialla Park in the A-grade decider, while Shepparton Lawn Aqua clinched the A1 flag, beating Byrneside 4-33 to 2-23.
The Thursday pennant grand final saw Shepparton Lawn Opal defeat Shepparton Lawn Gold 4-30 to 2-25, St Andrew’s Pink trump St Andrew’s Green 3-25 to 3-22 to claim A-grade honours, while Tatura Lawn beat St Brendan’s 3-31 to 3-28 to clinch the A1 premiership.
Additionally, a select number of special awards were presented.
