Fresh off its narrow one-shot defeat East Shepparton handed Shepparton Golf its second loss of the Goulburn Valley Playing Area midweek division one campaign.

In warm conditions, the Eagles outmuscled and outgunned their rivals and ran away to pencil in a dominant 16-79 to 0-55 triumph.

Weekend division one skip Daniel Nichols made a rare appearance in the comfortable 24-shot win and skipped his rink to a tense 23-22 win over Kris Wright.

Fellow weekend skip Allan Hueston enjoyed a 33-19 win over Carla Miles.

The result hands the Eagles their third win of this season and locks them into fourth spot ahead of Euroa.

Meanwhile, Shepparton Park is the major beneficiary of East’s win.

The Parkers leapfrogged Golf into top spot following their resounding 24-shot win over Rushworth.

The home side claimed all three rink wins in the 16-78 to 0-54 triumph.

Seymour has kept the pressure on the leading duo following a narrow 12-shot win over Kyabram and Euroa flexed its muscles against Tatura-Hill Top to run out a 24-shot victor.
