With only players who were likely to poll well invited to attend the prestigious night both the Hoppers and Bears had several players across differing grades in attendance to cap off the 2025 season.
Bear Ned McKeown had a good night, claiming the lead goal kicking award for the seniors with 98 goals for season 2025 while also finishing the Pearce Medal count on the podium in third with 17 votes, just four behind the leader from Waaia.
Co-coach Sam Ferguson also polled well, finishing equal seventh on 13 votes while in the McKenzie Medal for the Reserves, Tungamah’s Jeremy Kelly polled with eight votes.
Rennie FNC’s three senior netball invitees, Gaby Dowling, Heleena Shaw and Laynee Rhodes.
In the A Grade, Rennie’s Heleena Shaw finished the count in equal fifth with 15 votes while teammate Laynee Rhodes and Tungamah’s Keely Holcombe finished equal seventh with 13 and Bear Molly-Lou Grant finished equal eighth with 12 votes.
In the B Grade Tungamah’s Brodie Gissing just missed out but with a podium finish, claiming third position while teammate Tahnee Gissing finished seventh with 12 votes and Hopper Lucy Bassett finishing tenth with nine votes.
In the C Grade Hopper Gaby Dowling just missed out, finishing equal second with 15 votes, one behind the joint winners whilst Tungamah’s Bridie Hodgson finished with 14 votes and Jorja Goldman with nine.
Bear Ned McKeown finished on the podium of the Pearce Medal in third whilst also claiming the seniors leading goal kicker award for season 2025.
In the C Res, one of the local girls just missed out again with Bear Felicity Irvine finishing equal runners up with 17 votes, three behind the leader, while teammate Sharelle Vella finished on 16 votes and Kandyse Vella on 10.
