Jerilderie 42 def by Rennie 58
It was a warm day at Jerilderie and with a few unwell players the A Grade got off to a slow start. Grace Stillard warmed into her position on court and grew in confidence alongside strong defenders. Laynee Rhodes stepped in the position and had a strong tussle and stuck tight to her player.
The attack end focused on errors and by the last quarter Ella Rhodes and Paula Mifka combined well to push the lead a little further out.
All in all an improvement on errors but the A Grade need to settle and focus.

The girls worked the ball down the court effortlessly, kept their patience and worked it well into the goal circle.
The defenders as always worked hard to stop Jerilderie's shooters from getting into the goal circle at all with great blocking techniques.
The attackers’ drives were harder and stronger than they have ever been. It has been great to see this team develop over the last couple of weeks.

What a cracking start to the day the Rennie Under 17s had. With another top 4 team and girls falling unwell, the Rennie girls had their work cut out for them.
The Hoppers started the game off with high expectations, and making sure their basics were up to scratch. This seemed to pay off with an incredible 3 feet from Eliza, Lucy and Heleena.
The midcourt saw a lot of rotations from Laynee, Georgia, Sophia and Mykie whose passes were flawless and allowed Zoe and Sophie to show off their skills in the goal ring putting shots up from anywhere and following in for rebounds (not that there were any).
Another hard training this week to take on Waaia on their home ground.
Awards: Mulwala Bakery - Laynee Rhodes, Athenaeum - Mykie McBurnie, Rhodes Family - Zoe McKenzie and Yarra Fish N Chips - Lucy Bassett.
