A good win for the under 14s Pigeons who brought the heat from the opening bounce. It started in the middle with Trembath, Smith and Elliott dominating the clearances.
Repeated forward entries gave numerous opportunities to forwards McCarty, Tyson and Fraser. Tonna was everywhere, getting to forwards feet and causing headaches for the Roos defenders.
The backline was impenetrable for much of the day, ably lead by Jaques, Loughnan, Skehan and Webster with their precise ball use.
It was a whole team, four quarter effort stunning the young Roos. Well done boys.

Under 12s
Corowa Rutherglen 6.14.50 defeated Yarrawonga 4.2.26.
Yarrawonga vs Corowa at Wahgunyah was a game of two halves. Corowa jumped out of the blocks and the Yarra boys were a bit shell shocked.
Strong and resolute defence ensured that the score did not blow out too much, but the first half was certainly played predominantly in the Corowa forward line.
The second half saw Yarrawonga get their game together. With run and dash off half back, the Pigeons were able to impact the scoreboard through Hargreaves, Webster, Doric and Brear.
Cody Costello worked his heart out all day and Ted Brear proved his versatility again in a variety of roles.
Jordan Knight tackled and defended well in the backline and Taj Parker gave the boys a lift when he went into the ruck.
Goals: Mac Hargreaves, Jai Webster, Trey Doric, Ted Brear.
