The weekend and midweek pennants will start within the next seven days, weekend matches beginning this Saturday, October 4, and midweek contests kicking off on Tuesday, October 7.
The addition of Kyabram is set to shake up the pennants this year, after Kyabram Bowls Club made the jump from Goulburn Valley Playing Area.
The new club will make its weekend pennant debut at home, hosting another local hope and previous addition to the playing area, Stanhope.
Stanhope had control of last season’s division one final, but was run down late by Moama in a thrilling finish.
Tongala is also set to start its new campaign, travelling to Rich River Bowls Club.
One of the perennial contenders, Tonny, will be looking to improve on a preliminary final appearance last year.
Kyabram’s addition means nine sides in the top grade and adds a bye to the regular rotation, Rochester the first side to sit out a week.
Conversely, the new addition levels out the midweek pennant, which doesn’t include Tongala, bringing division one to eight sides.
Tuesday’s round one will have Kyabram start its campaign on the road, visiting Deniliquin Bowling Club, while Stanhope begins its season with a trip to Rochester Bowls Club.
Ky Valley View will also seek to make its mark this year, entering sides in the lower divisions of both pennants.
Weekend pennant fixtures begin at 1.30pm, while midweek games are scheduled for a 10am start.
