Laura and Steph were strong in goals, shooting accurately and combining well in the circle.
Tess, Grace, Ellie, and Stace delivered brilliant feeds, working together to keep the ball flowing smoothly into attack.
With minimal pressure from the opposition in defence, the team-maintained control throughout the match.
Everyone played their part, resulting in a well-deserved win.

B Grade
Mulwala 67 def Finley 36.
B grade took the court at home this week with gusto, starting strongly with EJ celebrating 150 club games.
By the end of the first quarter EJ and Tayla had shot 18 goals, with Finley trailing at the break.
Next quarter mid courtiers Sophia, Anna and Georgia were intercepting many of Finley’s passes sending it into the ring with both goalers moving well.
In defence Cara and Mills were blocking Finley with clever defence, making their goalies shoot in difficult positions.
The third enter Mikyah, Freya and Shani with more of the same making it a real team effort, showing the depth and versatility the team has.
B grade won by 31 and could celebrate at ladies day with a well-earned drink.

C Grade
Mulwala 48 def Finley 41.
From the opening whistle, the Lionesses team demonstrated exceptional energy and focus, executing the strategies they've worked on during training.
This approach gave the C Grade a good lead early in the game. The midfielders were pivotal in both offensive transitions and defensive recoveries.
The reliable defenders had a tough day up against some brilliant shooters.
The shooters had to make sure the goals were on point against a very tall defending Finley side.
The girls fought hard to the final whistle, collecting the four points.

C Res
Mulwala 40 def Finley 29.
The Lions started the game strong and kept up the intensity for the full four quarters. Sienna and Hannah are working well together in the mid court.
Belle and Annabel worked hard in defence, making the shooters work hard for every goal.
Myley was on fire in the ring, moving well and shooting with accuracy.
Saturday was a great game for the Lions, everyone played their role well and deserved the win.

Under 17s
Mulwala 38 def by Finley 49
Slow start to the game unfortunately gave the opposition a lead. The girls switched on and started to play well together well.
Alani again working well and both ends shooting very accurately and giving many turnovers.
All girls worked hard but unfortunately couldn’t come back from the oppositions lead.

Under 15s
Mulwala 27 def by Finley 28.
The Lionesses lost by one, it was so tight, they gave it their all, with all their might.
But they’ll try once more, and settle the score, next time they’ll get it just right.

Another great win. A strong, consistent game from start to finish — fantastic team effort by all the girls.
The coaches arep roud of the way everyone played together. Excellent defence by both Nancy and Remi.
A strong consistent game again by Layla.

Under 11s
The girls exhibited great teamwork and excellent defense. Great improvement in goal shooting.
