A fast start by the Mulwala seniors saw them take a handy lead in the first quarter through the elusive forward craft of Jackson Meade and Tom Dow.
The second quarter was a scrappy affair where Mulwala’s backline battled hard and enabled them to continue to lead into half time through the stingy efforts of Harrison, Meade, Dylan McNamara and Nathan McNair.
The second half opened up for Mulwala as Charley McKenna became crucial through the middle of the ground, floating forward to hit the scoreboard.
Owen Conway was rested in the forward line to great effect as Mulwala ran away with a strong victory assisted by the elusive young thirds player Van Kreeck who was swamped by teammates when kicking his first senior goal with his first senior kick.
Another strong win entrenching the team in the top four heading into a much-needed bye round next week.

The Mulwala thirds had a very slow start to the game, only kicking two goals in the first quarter as they seemed to be still overjoyed with the marriage proposal by their coach earlier in the day to his now fiancée Jedda Nolan.
The second and third quarters Mulwala came out firing through the midfield, with Tige Sanderson and Declan Wood taking control of the game keeping the ball mostly in Mulwala’s forward half allowing Jai Snedden to get on the end of many kicking an elite eleven goals by the end of the match.
Harley Nash and Nate applied immense forward pressure all game allowing them to get around any loose balls left from Jai and score themselves.
An overall great team effort not allowing their Finley opponents to score at all.
