Kicking with the strong breeze in the first quarter and the game being played in between the 50m arcs, Rumbalara controlled their defense well disabling the Mulwala forward attacks.
Rumba tried in the second half of the quarter as the Mulwala attacks became more effective allowing Jackson Meade and Beau Seymour some good hit up passes that turned into goals as Mulwala took a reasonable advantage into quarter time.
The defense held strong as Rumba kicked with the wind in the second quarter and controlled a lot of the play through the middle of the ground only to be denied by the stern Mulwala backline of Dylan McNamara and Harrison Meade.
Owen Conway controlled the ruck work all day in another strong display and really asserted himself in the second half as Mulwala ran away with the game with their fast ball movement allowing Tom Dow to get loose on several occasions to finish with three goals for the day which he followed up with on Saturday night with another best on performance at the ball.
