Congratulations to Ruby and Nancy who represented YMLA at the NCR Regional Athletics Carnival in Albury recently with an excellent result with both girls medalling in events.

Ruby competed in the 100m, 200m, Long Lump, Triple Jump and Shot Put bringing home a bronze medal in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
Nancy competed in the 100m, 200m, 60M Hurdles, Long Jump and Scissor High Jump bringing home 3 silver medals in the 60M Hurdles, Long Jump and Scissor High Jump.
Proudly supported by their Mum, Dad and little brother, the girls displayed excellent sportsmanship, determination and enthusiasm at all events and had fun supporting each other and their fellow competitors.
Well done and congratulations girls you should be very proud of yourselves, you were both superstars!
Little athletics break records
Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics Centre returned to the track on Monday, February 7 after the Christmas holiday break with four new centre record breakers celebrated.
Rosy broke the record for shotput 1kg in the girls under 7s.
Annabelle broke the record for the vortex in the girls under 7s.
Tristan broke the record for vortex in the boys under 8s.
Max broke the record for long jump in the boys under 11.
