Moama 55 def Mulwala 37.
It was 5th vs 6th on the Moama courts. After the first quarter it was only 5 goals difference but into the second Mulwala seemed to drop off a little bit.
The girls fought hard in the second half but couldn’t bridge the 18-goal gap.

B Grade
Moama 55 def Mulwala 33.
It was always going to be a tough day on the court taking on the undefeated top side in Moama.
The girls came out firing in the first quarter putting Moama to the test and the Lions girls came out on top leading the first quarter 11-10.
With all defenders away or out with injuries, the B Grade welcomed Brit Hanley back to the court and she did not disappoint in defence working well with Mikayla Woosnam who has now come up from U17s to join the B grade squad.
Moama found their groove and the Lions girls couldn’t quite keep up with them.
In the second half of the game Moama were too strong in the end winning the game by 22.
The Mulwala girls now know they can keep up with the top teams, it’s just now working on playing 4 strong quarters together.
Great effort by all.

C Grade
Moama 77 defeated Mulwala 13.
Good effort girls, Moama are a really strong team but the C Grade did an amazing job and didn’t give up.

C Res
Moama 56 defeated Mulwala 20.
It was a tough game with Moama so strong all over the court. The Mulwala girls played fantastic with the amazing help from the young girls from U15’s filling in.
All girls this week put in 100%. Bring on next week.

U17s
Moama 54 defeated Mulwala 23.
The girls came out fighting hard in the 1st half, with great positioning and drives down the court. Moama stepped it up in the last half. Mulwala kept fighting in the last with some great intercepts but unfortunately, went down 54-23.

U15s
Moama 53 defeated Mulwala 17.
The Under 15s knew this was going to be a tough game. As a team they focused on the basics and played a great game.
Milla, Ruby T and Grace worked hard all game in defence. Jem, Abbi and Myley shot well and moved well in the ring.
Lily had fire in her belly and was aggressive all over the court. Ruby S and Lani fought hard in the centre court and moved the ball down the court.
The score doesn’t reflect the game. It was a great game with a proud coach.

U13s
Moama 23 defeated by Mulwala 34.
Mulwala played a solid game of netball to come away with a convincing win against Moama.
The Lions girls led all game, worked the ball down the court well and were equally strong in defence and the mid court to secure a well-earned win.
It was a great team effort to beat the top placed team.

U11s
