It was 6th vs 7th in a battle for finals. The Lions came out strong and played a consistent 4 quarters. Hollie and Steph were available for every pass shooting and moving beautifully. Tess took risks and fed those balls to perfection! Great game Lions.

Mulwala 60 defeated Finley 25.
The girls came out firing with a 16-goal lead in the first quarter. EJ and Tayla didn’t miss a goal, working in unison with each other.
Nat and Chelsea fed the ball seamlessly into the ring, making it look effortless. As always Alex worked hard in defense with numerous tips and intercepts throughout the midcourt.
The girls in defense played well together with Freya dominating in the goal ring. Leah, Mikayla and Charli had strong hands over every ball causing the opposing team havoc with a number of turnovers.

C Grade
Mulwala 41 defeated Finley 33.
What a fantastic game to watch. The girls came out from the first center pass ready to win, leading at every break the girls came away with their 3rd win for the season. Well done girls bring on next week.

Mulwala 21 defeated by Finley 80.
With the last home game, the C Res all went out to have fun and enjoy the day. Unfortunately, the Lions didn’t win but they all played a great game across the whole court.
Bring on next week being the last game of the season with a fantastic bunch of girls.

Under 17s
Mulwala 34 defeated by Finley 31.
U17’s came out fighting hard against Finley with great defensive pressure from Reese and Mikayla W intercepting multiple passes.
The midcourt worked tirelessly to get the ball down to goals with Paige and Polly dominating. A fantastic win in the end with all girls playing exceptional netball.

Under 15s
Mulwala 16 defeated by Finley 35.
Saturday was the last game of the season for the 15s. It was another tough game but the girls never gave up. Jem and Myley worked hard in goals, moving well.
Allanah was on fire in defense, gaining many intercepts. Milla was once again a standout working hard in defense and creating play in centre.
Ruby S was an energizer bunny, moving the ball all over the court. Abbi showed her versatility, playing both ends of the court and making an impact on the game.
Lily was once again super aggressive both in attack and defense. Ruby T dominated in defense, getting tips on balls.

Under 13s
Mercy rule – Mulwala won.
The girls finished the home and away season with a solid win against Finley. It was a consistent effort across the mid court, goals and defense.

Under 11s
What a fantastic game to finish the season! The girls played like it was the grand final. Calling, moving and passing to each other like a winning team. Congratulations on the growth and development in skill you have all shown over the season. The coaches are very proud of you all. Go Little Lions!!
