Mulwala 40 def Barooga 27
A grade knew they had a battle this week with Barooga coming out strong.
Brodie turned over many balls in the goal ring and proved she can play on any shooter for the season.
It was an 8 goal difference going into the 4th quarter and the Lions set a goal.
Tess played really well coming into WD and A Grade found themselves a victory by 13 goals.
Well done girls.

Mulwala 69 defeated Barooga 20
Another great game played by C Grade. Good defence by Kathryn Maddox and Britt Hanley with consistent back up from Emme Shand.
Great defence combined with consistent and accurate shooting from Tayla, Britt with both players barely missing a shot.
Round 4 C Grade are 4 games to 0 and once again displayed great team work and consistency from the start to finish.
Awards: Mulwala Pharmacy and Hard Luck Coffee – Kathryn Maddox, Mulwala Bakery Lasagne – Tayla Thomas.

A good win with a lot of great teamwork.
Defenders yet again worked tirelessly and provided drive down the court to the attackers.
Tammy and Lisa are proving to be a tough defensive team.
Lots of positives to be taken from the game and lots to build on.
Keep it up girls.
Awards: Intersport Wingates – Lisa Weir, MFNC Rewards card – Tammy Watson.

A great team effort by the 17s but unfortunately it wasn’t the Lions day.
The girls had some really great spurts of play but Barooga were too good on the day.
Great defence with Cheyenne and Abbey taking a number of intercepts and causing deflections in the ring making it difficult for Barooga’s shooters to score.
Danielle and Heidi worked overtime in the ring and provided a great target for the attacking end.
The girls should be proud of their game and keep their heads up for next weekends match against Nathalia.
Awards: Papalia’s – Abbey Freeman, MFNC Dinner Voucher – Cheyenne Nixon.

The girls knew this week was going to be a tough game and it was.
The score doesn’t show that it was a tough battle and the Lions made Barooga fight for each goal.
The defenders, Lilly, Kalisha and Jaz worked hard all day, showing great determination.
Leni and Latoya were great all over the court, directing play and making leads.
The 13s will learn from this week and bounce back stronger for next game.
Awards: Travel and Cruise Yarrawonga – Lilly Walls, Lake Mulwala Bakery – Jasmine Holdsworth, MFNC Dinner voucher – Jess Linehan.

Mulwala 12 def by Barooga 19
The girls started strong with accurate shooting from Ruby and Emily and great flow in the centre by Jemma.
The defenders did well with such accurate shooting by the Barooga girls and turned over crucial balls when it mattered.
Maisee and Lora were all over the ball and defended well but the Lions struggled a little with getting in front of players.
Great game by the girls, working well as a team but Barooga were just too good in the end.
Awards: Paradise Palms – Maddi Grove, Travel and Cruise Yarrawonga – Lara Angwin, Lake Mulwala Bakery – Ruby Thomas.
