Mulwala controlled the game from start to finish in what was a scrappy game played in very wet and muddy conditions.
Oscar was relishing in the mud, playing like a young boy given free rein to slide through the puddles.
The ever-improving Irishman Cathel Deveroux locked down a defensive role and along with the generals Kyal Tyson and Lach Rouel, Rumbalara had great difficulty scoring.
On the other hand, Mulwala had Sean Robinson and young superstar Jackson Meade capitalize up forward, guiding the Lions to a convincing victory.

The Reserves were hoping for a forfeited match as the rain poured down in the earlier matches and the ground became chopped up like a Chinese stir fry.
Austin was dominant in the ruck all game.
Kyle and Josh played off the ruckman’s dominance to perfection.
Seb, Luke R and Jack M all had fantastic games and the accuracy of the forwards in front of goal reflected the conditions as Mulwala logged another convincing win leading into finals.

The Thirds came out firing from the beginning as they piled on eight goals in each of the first two quarters, showing a beautiful style of football even in the trying conditions.
The wet weather didn't seem to bother the boys at all as they scored heavily against their Rumba opponents and moved the ball in transition from midfield to forward with ease.
The entire team contributed to the convincing win which pleased coach Haley to no end, leading into the final bye round of the year and then into finals.

Mulwala 35 def by Rumbalara 51
It was a wet and challenging day on the court as we took on the undefeated Rumbalara. Despite the tough opposition and slippery conditions, A Grade remained composed and continued to push through.
There were some fantastic attacking plays, with quick ball movement and clever feeds into the circle that kept Mulwala in the contest.
While they didn’t come away with the win, the team showed great resilience and moments of brilliance that the side continues to build on.

B Grade
Mulwala 59 def Rumbalara 18
On a cold and wet day, Mulwala got off to a flying first quarter shooting 18 goals to Rumbalara’s two.
Defenders Freya and Cara defended their space beautifully while the midcourt of Alex and Georgia were strong.
Sophia was winning the centre battle against her opponent.
Goalers EJ and Tayla were having a field day in the first quarter.
In the second it was more of the same with Milla, dominating defence and Anna reaching for every ball.
Mikyah had one of her best games in both goals and on the wing.
At half time the score was 30 to seven.
B Grade were playing to their strengths with fast ball movement in wet conditions.
The girls were continuing to shoot truly even with a physical game from the opposition.
In the final quarter, the team were strong, building a good percentage win with finals just around the corner.
A result the whole team could be proud of heading into the bye.
