Eighteen pairs of ladies played Stableford Foursomes on June 27, on the president’s course, for the Doris Chambers Trophy.

This is an annual Victorian/NSW event and the winners will represent Tocumwal Golf Club at the Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club later in the year.
Winners were Patricia Small and Patricia Baker with 35 points.
Runners-up were Julie Penny and Gale Tyers with 33 points.

Wednesday, June 28 saw a small field of 56 men played Stableford on the president’s course in winter conditions.
We would have been lucky to see the temperature reach double figures, plus there was some rain.
Division 1: Michael Cooper 39 points, R/U Logan Taylor 38 points, 3rd Shane Halloran 35 points.
Division 2: Nev Finn 37 points, R/U David Webb 33 points, 3rd Joe Sacco 33 points.
Division 3: John Wilson 33 points, R/U Eugene Zolnierczyk 32 points, 3rd John Scandrett 31 points.
Gold Division: Phillip Lovelace 33 points.

Sunday was stroke and the Monthly Medal for the men, with the ladies playing stableford on the captain’s course from the blue tees.

Finley
The threat of rain once again saw a reduced field of ladies take to the course for the Finley Pharmacy Stroke and Club Brooch Event Wednesday last week.
After countback, on 78 net, Maree Doyle won both the day and the club brooch.
Annie Wood, also with 78 net, was the ball competition winner.
The putting competition went to Mary Polkinghorne with 27 putts.
A larger field of men braved the condition in the afternoon when stableford was played last on Wednesday.
Barry Wilson came home the winner with 37 points.
Cu Priuljith, with 33 points, and Mark Newton were winners in the ball competition.
Cu also claimed NTP on the 18th.
The weather improved - and so did the numbers – for the John Lacy Consulting Stableford Day on Saturday.
Alan Hand came out the winner of the men’s division with 37 points.
Janet Delmenico, on 35 points, was the winner in the women’s division.
Janet was also NTP on the 13th.
Ball competition winners were Barry Wilson 36, Paul Pinnuck 36, Jacob Smith 35, Daniel O’Reilly (Wagga Country) 33 and Kath Klemke who finished with 28 stableford points.
Stroke was played on Sunday for the Carl’s Catch of the Day Event.
Tony Smith came home the winner of the men’s division with 70 net.
Sharon Pyle had 73 net to claim the women’s division.
NTP on the 18th was Brett Shaw.
Ball competition winners were Marty Piggin 71, Colin McNamara 76, Barry Wilson 77, and Janet Delmenico who had 78 net.
Berrigan
Friday's winner was John Walker (43-16-32) and runner-up was Jeff Stein (46-10-36).
Peter Shand won the putting with 12 putts.
Saturday's winner was Lachlan Whelan (42-8.5-33.5), and Chris Kelly was runner-up (44-7-37).
The putting was won by Lachlan Whelan with 13 putts, and Paul McVicor was ball winner (50-11-39).
Sunday was the two person ambrose da-y, played in perfect golf conditions.
Winners for the day were Ian Armor and Paul McVicor (72-66.25).
Runners-up were Dave Midson and Grant Wilson (77-67.25).
Ball winners were Lachlan Whelan and Jeff Stein (77-67.5), and Chris Cameron and Andrew Parr (76-68.25).
Nearest the pin went to Gail Browne on the 8th, and Doug Cameron on the 17th.
Longest drive was won by Gail Browne and Chris Cameron.
Next Sunday is the second round of the men's championships.
Leaders heading in to the round are as follows: A-grade - Matt Whelan; B-grade - Chris Kelly; C-grade - Joe Nicholls.
