It was a hot day on the course last Wednesday, both weather and scoring.
19 of the 58 ladies who played the Murray Course scored 37 or more Stableford points which makes even getting a ball difficult.
A Grade winner was Louise Cross (18) with 44 points, just holding off Kirri Davis (9) with 43.
B Grade winner was Melissa Moat (31) with 43 points with Jenny Luke (36) closely behind on 42.

Saturday December 20th
Only 43 ladies played the Murray in the heat and humidity today.
A Grade winner was Louise Cross (17) with 40 points. Runner up was Kay Clarke (25) with 38 points on a 4 way count back from Joanne Ryan, Kirri Davis and Irene Thompson.
B Grade was won by the ever-consistent Pam Andreason (36) with 36 points on a count back from Jenny Thomas (26).
Other notable scores were Jan Kent with 37 points, and Lizzie O'Dwyer with 36.

YMGCR Men’s Nine Holes
Tuesday, December 16
The Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Tuesday Stableford competition saw a thrilling battle in A Grade, with Andrew Beattie and Andrew Brown both scoring 22 points.
Beattie prevailed on a countback, while Artie Massey, Rod Sissons, and Ray Douglas all performed strongly with 21 points.
Balls were awarded to Tom Hackett, Greg House, Dave Hall, and Norm Coleman.
In B Grade, veteran Vic “VB” Beveridge once again claimed victory with 22 points, narrowly edging out Ray Scott.
Scott had led a four-way countback with Doug Fasoli, Rod Nichol, and Phil Latham, who finished just a point behind. Ball prizes went to Ian Barton, Peter Tudor, Ted Latta, and John Hutchinson.

Thursday, December 18
Thursday’s Christmas Social and Presentation Day was a highlight of the season.
Graham Milner and Bob Fiddes teamed up to win the Foursomes event with a combined score of 34.25 strokes.
John Mason and Norm Coleman were runners-up with 36 strokes, followed closely by Steve Ambrose and Phil Howard (36.25) and Paul Burke and Rick Neilson (36.75).
Members enjoyed a festive afternoon with food, wine, and beer flowing until 3pm.
