In humid and blustery conditions today 44 ladies played the Lake Course while another 16 pairs contested the first round of the Wilkinson on the Murray Course.
A Grade winner with a great score of 38 points was Kirri Davis (7). Runner up was Donna Dee Hancock (10) with 37 points.
Score of the day went to B Grade winner, Kaye Reeves (30) with 41 points. Joyce Reimers (27) with 33 points was runner up on a countback from Sandra McGuinness (41).

In very enjoyable conditions today 59 ladies played a stableford round on the Murray Course.
In A Grade we required a three-way countback to determine the winner between Dot Brodie, Anna Castles and Judy Langford with all scoring 37 points.
Dot Brodie (was the daily winner with Anna Castles (22) runner up. Bad luck Jude.
B Grade also required a countback with 5 ladies scoring 36 points. Brenda Miller (26) won, with Paula Jamieson (29) coming in as runner up. Libby Kellock, Lila Bennett, Carolyn Boston and Mary Hockley all also scored 36 points.

YMGCR Men’s Nine Holes
Tuesday’s glorious weather saw 63 players competing on both courses.
On the Blue, Stuart Nixon won the Yarrawonga Hotel-sponsored prize with 21 points, edging a trio of Dino LePore, Noel Millar, and Bomber Mitchell, who all finished on 20 points.
Ball prizes also went to Rod Newman, Mick Doran, Ron Hocking, Normie Prior, and Graham Milner.
On the Red, John Dixon scored a solid 20 points to take the win, with Stuie "the Fly" Paterson, Brendan O’Farrell, and Darrel Haden doing well with 19 points each, split on a countback.
Balls also went to Normie Moule, John Kolodziej, Glenn Perkins, Michael Hope, and Lenny Ellis.
Thursday’s away trip saw only eight players, and the numbers were lower overall as 44 players competed in our favourite game of Par under difficult, windy conditions.
On the Blue, Dominic Fotia took the honours with +2, edging Normie Prior and Ron Dawson on +1, with ball prizes going to Rod Sissons, Brendan O’Farrell, Pete Dowie, Corny Boers, Darrel Haden, and Billy Hidson.
On the Red, Joe Sciberras also scored +2 to take the win from Rick Neilson, with balls going to Ray Douglas, Graham Milner, Trevor Pellegrino, Rod Newman, Peter Ferguson, Don Tipping, and Steve Williamson.
