With the night showing a real feel of spring, it was an awesome way to finish off what has been a super successful year.
The junior footy club celebrated all the award winners through the three age groups but most importantly celebrated a year full of individual and team achievement that all members are extremely proud of.
To be able to feel the joy of victory and the sting of defeat at different times throughout the season and push through the trials, then to have all three teams play off in prelim finals in what is now a finals top four structure is outstanding.
Under 14s award winners: Best 1st Year Player - Jack Ibrahim, Most Consistent - Joel Comensoli, Best and Fairest - Connor McCarty, Runner Up Best and Fairest - Ollie Tresize and Most Improved - Max Vodusek with coaches Nathan Tresize and Jamie Cummins.

Unfortunately, it was only the under 12s that could carry through the grand final, only to be defeated by a very impressive Albury side. The youngest Pigeons never gave up on the fight and can be super proud of what they have achieved through out the year.
Congratulations to all award winners and a massive thank you to all the parents and connections that volunteer their time to help make it all happen.
A massive shout out to all coaches and support staff. The YJFC could not ask for a better group of people to be around the young men as they progress through the junior club.
The list of thank yous could go on for pages and Phil Conway guesses that is an indication of the wonderful group of people involved in the club. You all know who you are and again thank you. Can’t forget the outstanding work done by Bree Tresize and Kerryn Van Den Bosch for putting together the visual display on the night. Your efforts really add something special to the presentation.
Under 16s award winners: Most Improved - Jordan Ibbott, Best in Finals - Ryder Stevens, Most consistent - Archie Jaques, Best and Fairest - Zac Forge, Runner Up Best and Fairest - Xavier Mitchell, Leading Goal Kicker - Jobe Fraser and Most consistent - Sam Bigger.
