Yarrawonga came out positive from the start, and never looked back. Bridget and Kaleisha combined well in goals and were supported by Laura and Tilly, a lot of patience over the attack end which Wodonga defenders had no answer for.
Kylie and Em were a solid combination in defence and got their hands to some great intercepts and rebounds.
The concentration was high from start to finish and Wodonga were outclassed by a solid Yarrawonga team.
B Grade
Wodonga 34 def by Yarrawonga 46.
Yarrawonga were confident from the start and fancied themselves against the third placed Wodonga Bulldogs having previously been beaten by the Wodonga outfit in the first round.
The girls showed their determination throughout the whole match. The match was close in the first quarter but the second quarter Yarrawonga pulled away and taking a 9 point lead into half time.
Abby Chapman played a solid game in WA and provided a strong option for the goalers to work the ball around the circle.
Maddy and Dee worked well together and continue to be more comfortable in their positions.
Wodonga made some changes in the third quarter and had Yarrawonga with 3 points.
The standout for the day and the difference was certainly Yarrawonga defenders Liv and Grace, they worked well together and got some strong intercepts.
The Wodonga goalers did not know how to respond to the strong defence. Mylah and Briar found their form in the final quarter and sealed the victory, which was a solid win by the girls.
The club wish Jac all the best as she played her last game for the season, look forward to seeing her on the sidelines.

Wodonga 63 def Yarrawonga 48.
Beautiful day for netball over in Wodonga. It was a strong start from Yarrawonga coming out with a 6-point lead at quarter time.
Accurate shooting and strong defence from Kirby Holmquest and Aleisha Harding was beautiful to watch.
Bulldogs came home strong in the second half and with their speed and dead eye shooting they were too good with a convincing win.
Yarrawonga’s best on the day were Aleisha Harding and Grace Eales with a lovely switch up into WA.

Under 15s
Wodonga 66 def Yarrawonga 32.
The team were challenged this week with illness as the Under 15s had two late outs. Gun mid courter Chloe was swung into goals, where she fitted in seamlessly.
Bulldogs played fast paced and proved too good. However, the Pigeons played really well.
Yarrawonga showed considerable improvement since they played them last.
