Outside Murray Footbal Netball League’s Three Jacks Trophy between Moama and Echuca United, Tongala will on the park and court, taking on finals contender Nathalia.
In a Good Friday contest, the Blues’ senior football side will travel to Nathalia to take on the Purples, with both sides sitting at a 1-1 record this season.
While Tonny lost to Echuca United, it was by a single point, with the Blues making good on their promise of being a top four side in 2025.
The Blues’ A-grade netballers are in a similar boat, with their season also sitting at one win and one loss.
But, they will have a taller order as their Nathalia is currently undefeated to start the season.
Meanwhile, in Goulburn Valley League, Echuca will continue pushing forward with its flag defence, coming up against Tatura at home on Saturday.
The Murray Bombers should be able to continue on the unbeaten path as the Bulldogs were not only wooden spooners in 2024, but have failed to win a game this season.
The Echuca A-grade side may find a tougher opponent in Tatura, which, like the Murray Bombers, find themselves at one win and one loss on the season.
Home court at Victoria Park should serve Echuca well as the team will look to get back to the hallowed grounds of the GVL grand final in 2025.
