Yarroweyah 3.5.23 defeated by Rennie 8.4.52.
It was the battle of the hoppers this week, when the Rennie reserves went to battle against Yarroweyah.
The back six was strong again with Leon Wolfe and Ryan Trinder-James leading the front from defence.
The mid-field battled hard, with Beau Hornidge and Mitch Davis combining well with the big inclusion of Jarryd Fountain.
Rennie had plenty of good ball users going into the forward 50, with George McBurnie working well to hit the key forward in Ben James.
It was tough battle but Rennie came out with the 4 points and hope to continue their winning ways as they take on Berrigan this week.

Yarroweyah 0.1.1 defeated by Rennie 26.28.184.
The three’s took on an undermanned opponent but were able to keep the foot down all day and win easily.
It all started in the guts with Van Maanen winning in the ruck, Kennedy got the clearances and Lonergan and Slattery dominated up forward kicking 13 between them.
Around ground Clarke was unstoppable, Kelly was prolific and this work allowed 11 individual goalkickers.

Yarroweyah 6.5.41 drew with Rennie 6.5.41.
An amazing finish with Rennie up by 27 points then Yarroweyah storming home to think they had snuck a win only for the goal umpires to announce a draw.
Rennie dominated the game for 3 quarters led by Tyler Clarkson, with Connor Strawhorn doing an amazing job and Chase Payne being the gun up forward with 3.
Magro was tireless in the middle but all of a sudden the locals got on a roll and 3 goals in the last 6 minutes saw the drawn finish.

The dew kicking rockshow rolled on to Yarroweyah and everyone who was there were again enthralled.
Great to see Pettit bouncing around the wing, with sons of guns Bigger and Oughton dodging, weaving and kicking snags, and the club are seeing great handball skills from the youngest Hoppers.
