However, harder challenges are on the horizon for the ladder-leading Rovers.
The Roos will meet Jerildeire on the field this weekend.
Jerilderie are coming off a 121-point win away against Rennie.
But Rovers head coach Alex Hay said Deni is also confident after a 193-point win against Yarroweyah last weekend, which he said was a demonstration of how he wants the team to play.
“Last week was very pleasing in many aspects against Yarroweyah.
“Unfortunately, they probably aren’t travelling as well as they would like to, be but we were able to bring some real heat at the contest.
“I was really impressed with our ability to stick to the task and not get carried away, which can often happen when the lead blows out.
“Our backline was fantastic in the way we set up behind the ball and intercepted the ball exiting their defence.
“The forwards obviously moved well together and got some reward with a fair amount of entries.”
While in good form after the opening month of the season, Hay said there is still improvement to be made in the team.
“Our numbers on the track and training standards have held us in good stead the first month, but we’re very aware that things can change quite quickly so the boys have been very grounded.
“We still have a lot of improvement within the group, and the challenge now is to continue some good form playing strong opposition such as Jerilderie on the weekend.”
This week’s opposition presents the start of more difficult tests, with Rovers’ past few meetings with Jerilderie being a challenge.
“Jerilderie has had some mixed results in the opening few rounds, and a few changes in personnel.
“They have had the wood over us the past few encounters and are one of the harder teams to take on their home deck.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge and expect to get the game on our terms early to give us every chance of getting the win.”
