Abbey Wills was in stellar form in the ring, capitalising on turnovers and pulling in numerous rebounds.
Players’ Player, Chloe Brown, continues to impress with her skill across the court, providing fast, accurate feeds to the shooters.
With a couple of players unavailable, Erika Martin stepped up and delivered a standout performance in defence in her first A-grade game.
Following two byes in the next three weeks, Rovers will be refreshed and ready to continue their premiership defence.

B-grade: Deni Rovers 61 def Blighty 10.
In very hot and trying conditions, Rovers B-grade registered a comprehensive win over Blighty at Memorial Park.
It was a solid team effort, with the coaching staff taking the opportunity to trial some new combinations on court.
Georgia Van Lieshout delivered an impressive performance at Goal Attack, working tirelessly to support shooter Bell Mcilwain and create space in the ring.
Her sharp leads and well-timed passes maintained strong attacking momentum throughout the game.
Down the other end, the defensive trio of Sophie Dudley, Georgia McCulloch, and Erika Martin proved a formidable force, constantly pressuring their Blighty opponents and generating numerous intercepts and rebound turnovers.
Amy Holloway was impressive in her senior netball debut, providing much-needed relief for tired legs and making a strong impact in Wing Attack.

C-Grade: Deni Rovers 59 def Blighty 11.
The C-grade side benefited from a slightly shaded court and came out firing with an explosive 17-goal first quarter.
Paige Brown led the charge with accurate shooting, well supported by strong drives and smart passing options from Britt Kirby and Ava Robinson in the mid-court.
On the defensive end, Reagan Behsman and Catie Lewis kept the Redeyes scoreless in the opening term with tight defensive pressure.
When illness forced Catie from the court in the second quarter, Matilda Glowrey, Jarrah Fitzpatrick and Jemma Kerr stepped up seamlessly to support Reagan with determination.
Despite signs of fatigue late in the game, Montana Muldoon-Leetham continued to be a reliable option down the court, helping maintain momentum and composure. The girls finished strongly to secure a convincing 59-11 victory.

C-Reserve: Deni Rovers 81 def Blighty 5.
In sweltering conditions, the C-Res team took to the court during the hottest part of the day with only eight players available.
Despite the heat, the team showed cohesion from the first whistle.
Elly Blake and Nicole Felmingham combined beautifully in the goal circle throughout the first three quarters, with Elly delivering precise feeds and Nicole finishing with sharp shooting to dominate the scoreboard.
Mid-court duo Abby Whitehorn and Mollie Leetham ran tirelessly, demonstrating excellent drive and pinpoint passing to transition the ball cleanly into attack.
Defensively, Shanè Bothma was outstanding, cutting off Blighty’s attacking plays before they could reach the goal circle with timely intercepts and consistent pressure.
The team didn’t let up in the fourth quarter, posting their highest-scoring term of the match.
Gabby Clarke joined Nicole in the circle to produce a stunning 23-goal quarter, coming away with a commanding 81-5 win.

Under-17s: Deni Rovers 68 def Blighty 15.
In testing conditions, the Deni Rovers took on the relentless pressure of the Blighty Redeyes and delivered a determined performance under the heat.
The defensive circle was outstanding, consistently turning the ball over and disrupting Blighty’s attacking flow.
A standout in wing defence, Eve Meharry was relentless on both the centre pass and the circle edge, forcing multiple errors and earning herself the Best on Court award for her efforts.
In the attacking end, Bae Willis played a pivotal role in goals, using clever drives and precise passing to outsmart her opponents.
She adapted seamlessly as the game progressed, providing calm leadership and direction when needed.
Her performance embodied strong captaincy qualities, guiding the team with confidence and composure.

A warm Saturday set the scene for a challenge this week, one the girls on both teams embraced with determination and enthusiasm.
The first quarter saw some beautiful ball movement down the court.
With sharp footwork in the goal circle, Marlie Mison and Jorja Woolston delivered lightning-fast feeds into the shooters, helping the team take a solid lead into the first break.
As the heat intensified in the second quarter, position changes and rolling subs were used to keep things fresh.
The girls adapted quickly and Nina Glowrey made her presence known in defence, creating turnovers and transitioning the ball with confidence and poise.
In the third quarter, Stella McBurnie stepped up with outstanding body work, while Amelie Bulmer was instrumental through the mid-court, bringing calmness and leadership when it was most needed.
The final quarter saw both teams begin to tire under the heat, but the girls held strong.
Lilly Boyer and Georgia Danckert continued to shoot with confidence and applied fantastic defensive pressure in the attacking end.
Meanwhile, Zoe Basset found her rhythm, getting her hands to plenty of loose balls and disrupting the opposition's flow.
It was an excellent performance by the team under tough conditions. Their adaptability, teamwork and grit were on full display throughout the game.

Under-13s: Deni Rovers 21 def Blighty 7.
The Deni Rovers under-13s continued their strong start to the season with a convincing win over Blighty in round two.
Despite the heat, the girls displayed great resilience, keeping their energy high and their attacking drives sharp throughout the match.
The game began evenly, with a close scoreline at the end of the first quarter.
However, the Rovers soon found their rhythm.
Khoa Unwin and Sophie Bulmer worked tirelessly in the centre and wing attack positions, creating valuable opportunities for shooters Madison Danckert and Maddy Woolston to convert.
The introduction of Isabelle Didcock into goal attack added fresh intensity to the goal circle, boosting the team’s momentum.
Defensively, Indi Conallin stood out in wing defence, with several crucial tips and interceptions that helped seal the win in the final quarter.
It was another excellent performance from the team, demonstrating strong teamwork, adaptability, and determination.

The Deni Rovers under-11s’ first home game of the season was met with warm weather and a spirited team ready to take the court.
The girls delivered an impressive performance, setting a positive tone for the season ahead.
Gabbi Dunmore was dominant in goals, capitalising on every opportunity, while Evie Hunter’s precise and sharp passes allowed for smooth transitions down the court.
Oaklee Morrison impressed with her ability to create space and her skilful interceptions, turning defence into attack seamlessly.
Charlotte King and Pallas East brought a commanding presence across all thirds, using their height and court awareness to remain consistently available as options.
Their strength in defence was also evident, claiming loose balls with confidence and control.
Harper Bulmer’s speed and determination were on full display as she pushed the ball forward with energy and purpose, while also showing her versatility by switching into defence when needed.
Madi Hunter proved to be a dynamic force, consistently finding space and outpacing her opponent to keep the game flowing.
A particularly special moment came as sisters Lainey and Morgan Sampson shared the court for the first time, with Morgan making her netball debut.
With Lainey’s support and encouragement, Morgan settled into the game quickly and made a fantastic first impression.
