The players hosted a workshop with local Auskickers before taking Under 12s and Under 14s training and meeting local Tiger fans with a meet and greet and signing session.
But for those who did not get a chance to see their footy heroes, the Tigers are still in town on Wednesday, meeting with some of the older football lovers.
The Richmond side themselves will be training from 3pm – 5pm at JC Lowe Oval before taking part in the training of the Under 16s and Under 18s at 5pm and the seniors at 5.45pm.
A BBQ will be available with the canteen and can bar also open for those hoping to come down and have a look.
Bring the family, wear your colours and come watch your favourite AFL players up close at JC Lowe Oval.
Richmond CEO Shane Dunne said the trip would help the club start the year with strong momentum.
“We know there are Richmond fans everywhere and particularly in the Yarrawonga and broader North East region,” Mr Dunne said.
“Connecting with these fans creates a great buzz.
“It’s good for the players to get away together, train hard, and give back to the community during our time in the region.”
