One of the local teams (u14 girls) competed extremely well and ended up winning their Division 1 Grand Final against Bacchus Marsh by just one point!
This team lost just one match (by only two points) leading up to the Grand Final, leaving their best until last, securing a nail-biting win.
Yarrawonga Mulwala Lakers Basketball Club sent six teams to compete at this tournament consisting of three girls and three boys team across all age groups from U12 to U18.
Once again Yarrawonga Mulwala Lakers Basketball Club competed strongly against much larger towns and bigger clubs, with some teams just missing out on reaching the Semi Finals and the U18 girls just missing out on reaching their Grand Final, being knocked out in their Semi Final by just three points against Echuca.

The Lakers Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Club will now go back to training and prepare for their next tournament in Wodonga over the weekend of February 4 – 6.
