Tungamah 58 def Jerilderie 36
The Bears came out firing, establishing a seven-goal lead by quarter-time.
Several strategic changes in the second quarter helped extend that lead to nine by the main break.
A Grade’s third quarter was the standout as the side showcased a heap of pressure, intercepts, and slick teamwork which led to break away to a 23-goal lead at the final change.
The eventual 22-goal win was a strong all-round performance and a result the coach was very pleased with.
Lauren O’Shea was named players' player for her versatility and impact after she made a seamless transition from goals into defence where she continued to shine.
Keely Holcombe was a key playmaker who directed traffic and set up opportunities all over the court.
Molly Grant showed her class and hunger for the contest, winning the ball with determination throughout.
A big congratulations to Tayla Mason on her A Grade debut, and thanks to Grace, Brodie, Mariah, Mollie, and Lauren Miles for stepping up and supporting the side last week.

B Grade
Tungamah 65 def Jerilderie 40
The Bears have taken the 25-goal win after another dominant start.
B Grade’s shooters worked brilliantly together in the ring as they used each other’s strengths to full effect and created seamless scoring opportunities.
The midcourt delivered patient, well-timed feeds that helped maintain control and momentum.
Defensively, the team put in a tireless effort all day, with fantastic teamwork and support across the board.
Brodie Gissing stood tall against a much taller opponent, securing multiple rebounds and intercepts through smart positioning and determination.
Caity Whitelock was everywhere on the court, offering constant options and running relentlessly throughout the game.
Mollie Walton showed her trademark composure and ability to read the play, proving again how valuable she is to the team.
A big thank you to Jorja, Elli, and Chelsea for stepping in and contributing so well to the team effort.

C Grade
Tungamah 40 def Jerilderie 20
Bridie and Jorja were partnered in defence and formed a wall so solid Tungamah have considered hiring the duo as security guards.
Jade returned to her natural wing defence habitat, and absolutely thrived.
Dim steamed down the court in wing attack, and linked beautifully with the midcourt.
Issy braved the wild unknown of the attacking end and did a stellar job for someone in foreign territory.
Remi and Illa lit up the scoreboard in the first half with a stack of goals, before tagging in Dan and Chloe, who gave the poor scoreboard operator a full-body workout just trying to keep up with the goals and the stats.
C Grade’s midfield engine Rahni ran like a machine powered by snacks and sheer determination.
She left with more awards than a Hollywood actor during Oscar season.
A brilliant game all round.
Next week, the Bears pack the snacks and hit the road for a trek over to Deni.

C Reserve
Tungamah 46 def Jerilderie 9
It was a cracking day for netball as C Reserve welcomed Jerilderie to the Bear pit.
The C Reserve’s defence was rock solid once again, and the attack earned some praise in another well-constructed win.

Under 17s
Tungamah 40 def by Jerilderie 56
The Under 17s match was always going to be a tough against Jerilderie.
Both teams started strong with the contest going goal for goal in the first quarter before Jerilderie took the lead.
Despite the Under 17s showing moments of strong play and determination, Jerilderie's consistency and accuracy gave them the edge.
Tungamah never gave up and battled right to the final whistle, displaying great teamwork and spirit.
Plenty of positives to build on for the weeks ahead.

Under 15s
Tungamah 35 def by Jerilderie 39
The team had a slow start as the cold weather made it difficult to find the Under 15s usual spark early on.
Despite this, the side showed great resilience and worked hard adapting to the tricky conditions as the game progressed.
Jerilderie players were wonderful opponents, both competitive and strong across the court.
As Tungamah settled into the game, their teamwork began to shine, and momentum started to shift their way.
Unfortunately, it all came together just a little too late, and the Under 15s were unable to close the gap before the final whistle.
Special mention goes to Sienna and Paige in the midcourt, who delivered some beautiful passages of play and worked tirelessly to keep the ball moving forward.

Under 13s
Tungamah 38 def Jerilderie 3
The Under 13s put together another beautiful game of netball last week.
Defensive trio Eliza P, Eliza L, and Sienna were outstanding, as the worked tirelessly all game to create pressure and pick off countless turnovers.
Their efforts in the backline helped transition the ball smoothly down the court and into scoring opportunities.
Pocket rocket Sophie had a standout performance in wing attack with strong drives and accurate feeds into the shooters all game long.
The team continues to grow in confidence and cohesion, showing great improvement each week across all areas of the court.

Under 11s
On the cold icy morning, the Under 11s were more than ready to take on the demons.
Tungamah came out strong, and moved the ball down the court.
Training nights proved to be paying off, as the side made great space and showed brilliant forward drives.
The defenders were as strong as ever, and the shooters put on a show in the goal ring with some great goals.
