YARRAWONGA JUNIOR FOOTBALL

The Under 16’s took on Corowa this weekend at the JC Lowe Oval in wet conditions. 

The Yarrawonga boys were undermanned this week through injuries and unavailability. The first half of the game was closely contested with both sides playing an equally competitive game. 

The boys took control in the second half with the midfield, Griffin Surry, Xavier Walker and Mitch Loughnan (playing his first game for the year) clearing the ball well to the forward line in Axel Doherty and Memphis Bramich who were providing good options. 

The back six lead by Geoffrey Montgomery and Darby Mullins held Corowa at bay. 

While Ed Judd, Cohen Cuskelly, Callum DeOleveira and Jacob Doig all played their role and their best game for the year.
